Splitting Adam is a story about a man who is stuck in life yet doesn’t realize it. He would do anything and everything to get ahead no matter who he hurts and a Grandmother who would do anything and everything just to establish a relationship with her only grandchild. Splitting Adam is produced by Teatro Punto y Coma (TPyC) and the Ken Jewish Community. Teatro Punto y Coma was founded in 1988 in Mexico City and did exclusive plays in Spanish. Today TPyC is venturing into English once again (its third production in English) but never leaving behind its Latino and Jewish roots. Its director and co-founder Pepe Stepensky takes a group of talented actors and tackles the age old question, would you do anything for your family? Splitting Adam is written by Salomon Maya, a member of TPyC and a former Stand-up comedian. It will premiere October 21st and 22nd at the Old Town Theatre (Cygnet) in San Diego, CA.
